About Rhiannan Price
As Humanitarian Fellow in Residence at Taylor Geospatial, Rhiannan Price is essential in building the collaborative ecosystem we need as we transform novel geospatial AI research into digital public goods. She connects researchers, industry leaders, NGOs, and communities to ensure our breakthroughs reach the people and places that need them most.
Rhiannan has built her career democratizing access to satellite imagery and geospatial data. She’s a connector who forges meaningful partnerships across public, private, academic, and humanitarian sectors, bringing people together around shared missions. Her work spans crisis mapping, open science advocacy, remote sensing for humanitarian response, and creative models for expanding satellite data access.
Rhiannan was awarded the 2025 Kluz Prize for PeaceTech, a prestigious recognition in technology for global good, for her work as Co-Founder of Common Space—the world’s first independent, community-tasked satellite mission dedicated to peacebuilding and humanitarian action. She continues her work at Common Space with support from Taylor Geospatial.
