About Isaac Corley
As Director of AI/ML Research at Taylor Geospatial, Isaac Corley is building the team and the models behind our Earth observation work, turning cutting-edge research into reliable, repeatable tools that industry can adopt at global scale. He works at the frontier of GeoAI – computer vision and foundation models for Earth observation–from research through production.
Before joining Taylor Geospatial, he built and shipped the RasterFlow platform at Wherobots for global-scale geospatial inference, served as Principal Investigator on the IARPA SMART program at BlackSky, and deployed computer vision models at scale for renewable energy inspection at Zeitview. He has also interned with Microsoft’s AI for Good Research Lab.
A prolific open-source contributor, he maintains TorchGeo, a widely used PyTorch library for geospatial deep learning. Isaac holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and presents frequently at UT Austin and other events to inspire and educate current and future geospatial researchers and practitioners.
