SirenGPS: Accessing a New GIS Public Safety Data Resource – Briefing & Demo

TGI’s Industry Partner SirenGPS uses data from 911 calls across the St. Louis region to provide real-time notifications to schools and businesses located in the geographic vicinity of emergency response incidents. The thousands of historical data points compiled by SirenGPS through their service presents a valuable and previously inaccessible source of data for researchers with an interest in public safety and related areas. Through agreement with TGI, SirenGPS has agreed to provide its data to scholars in the TGI community for research or education purposes.

At this briefing and demonstration, SirenGPS CEO Paul Rauner will share information about his company’s data set and explain how TGI Associates can gain free access to those data.
